Yes, we have got a valid civil responsibility insurance as well as an accident insurance that covers all our guided tours and activities. Please note that you are NOT covered by our insurance if you only rent a bike, e-bike, e-scooter or a car from us.

Palma Bicycle Tours cancellation policy for our OPEN TOURS:

If the service is canceled due to external causes (atmospheric conditions, catastrophes, emergency situations, canceled cruise calls …) that prevent its correct development, no amount will be charged from the client and, if it is the case, the entire amount of the advanced payment from the client to our company, will be returned. In the event of a date change, we will always try to reach an agreement to settle a new date and not modify costs. In the event of not being able to find a new date close to the first date, the client can ask for a voucher that will be valid from the date of the purchase (of the first tour), during 2 years.

In the event of a reduction in the number of participants, if notice is received less than 24 hrs in advance, it will not be discounted from the first agreed price. If notified enough in advance, the unsubscribed participant will not be charged. If the client does not show up and has not previously communicated its wish to change the date of the tour enough in advance (a “no-show”), the total amount agreed for the group will be charged and, if applicable, what has already been anticipated by the client will be discounted as a deposit from the total amount.

Booking conditions, payment and cancellation for our PRIVATE TOURS and AGENCY TOURS:

Payment of at least 50% of the total reservation amount to confirm the activity. The remaining 50% should be paid 1 week after the date of the activity, at the latest. If the client cancels with more than 4 weeks anticipation we will refund the deposit payment. If less than 4 weeks before the activity and the client cancels by its own causes, or in other words, if the service could develop normally in the reserved dates, we will not refund the 50% paid to confirm the booking, but we will refund the remaining amount that has been paid in advance (if that is the case). If the service is canceled due to external causes (weather, disasters, emergencies, cancelled cruise ships …) that prevent its proper development, 100% of the payment is returned. If the client requests to change the date, we will always try to reach an agreement and not change costs. If the number of participants is reduced and if notice is received by us less than 3 days in advance, the change will not be deducted and the client will pay the agreed initial price. If notified between 3 and 7 days in advance, 5€ are discounted per person for normal bicycles and 10€ per person for electric bicycles, mountain bikes or road bikes. If notified more than a week in advance, we will adapt the price of the activity to the new amount of participants, up to a maximum reduction of 50% of the agreed initial total Price for the group activity.

It depends on the type of tour and the starting/ending point, but almost all our tours have a màximum duration of 3,5hrs including breaks.

In order to be able to offer our tours to a maximum range of different types of participants, on purpose, we have adapted our tours to be levelled EASY. This means that with a normal health status and physical condition, and being used to moderate daily amounts of any kind of sport, and previously having been riding a normal bike, there should be no problem for you to participate in any of our bike tours or activities. If you however suffer from any kind of sickness, health problem or have previously gone through any major operation (legs, knees, back, hips..), please let us know in advance so that we can specifically advise you if we find it suitable for you to participate in our tours or not. We reserve the full right to deny any participant from participating in any of our tours if we find that there might be a danger for the participant in itself or for any other of participants in the group or for the guide itself if the person in question is participating in our tour.

We have the luck to have, generally, great weather on Mallorca. Due to its mild occidental mediterranean and mostly sunny subtropical climate (an average of 300 sunny days per year) with warm and dry summers and short and mild winters, the odds couldn’t be better for outdoor activities.

We strongly recommend the months between mid September until mid June for our tours, but we offer them throughout the whole year. Keep in mind that the summer months of mid June – mid September are normally hot (average of 20-39ºC – but can reach 41º during heat waves) and its important to stay hydrated and protected from the sun (sunscreen, hat, sunglasses) during outdoor activities that takes place during this time period.
